Update

SOCIAL STUDIES
We have been studying all about the U.S. Government. Just a reminder that their chapter 8 test will be on Friday. Today in class each student picked a U.S. symbol or monument to research. We will do all the research and write a report about it in class. At home, each student is to create some type of project to show the class what their symbol/monument looks like. Please look in your child's file folder for these directions. The project is due Friday, April 20th. If you have any questions, please let me know.

GO CARDS!
To cheer on the Cardinals at the home opener on Friday, we will have Cardinal Spirit Day. Students can wear their favorite Cardinal shirt or wear red. GO CARDS!

MAP
The students will finish their last section of the Mathematics Assessment of the MAP on Thursday. They have been working very hard, and I am extremely proud of each of them.

WORD STUDY
New word study words will be coming home this week. Look for these in your child's file folder.

MATH
Our next math quiz will be on Tuesday, April 17th. It will be over chapter 12 (division). Please continue to practice the multiplication facts with your child. Some students seem to be forgetting the facts. Thank you!
